Holaz Privacy Promise

What information we collect, and why we need it

• Account information (only if you choose to sign up): If you create an account to save your designs across devices, we only ask for your email address and a password you set. No mandatory phone numbers, no social media links required. We only use this information to let you log in, sync your design drafts, and send you critical account security alerts.
• Content you share for design requests: When you type a creative prompt for our AI poster engine, upload personal photos to customize templates, or adjust text/fonts/colors on your design, we process this content only to complete your current design request. This content never leaves our secure processing servers unless you actively choose to share it publicly.
• Optional usage data: If you opt in, we may collect anonymous, de-identified data about which template styles you prefer, what adjustments you make to AI-generated posters, and what types of prompts deliver the best results for you. This data is only used to make our AI smarter and our template library more useful for all Holaz users. You can toggle this setting on or off anytime in your account preferences.
• Guest mode data: If you use Holaz without signing up for an account, we do not collect any personal information at all. All generated posters and temporary edits are stored locally on your device, and are wiped from our servers immediately after your design session ends.

Our binding privacy guarantees: things we will never do

• We will never sell, rent, or share your email address, personal photos, unpublished designs, or creative prompts with any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.
• We will never use your private, unpublished creative content (photos, prompts, draft designs) to train our AI models, unless you explicitly choose to opt in to our voluntary model training contribution program.
• We will never send you unsolicited marketing emails. The only emails you will receive from us are account-related security alerts, design sync confirmations, or template update alerts you actively choose to subscribe to (you can unsubscribe in one click anytime).
• We will never access your private designs unless you explicitly reach out to our support team and grant us temporary permission to help troubleshoot an issue with your work.
• We will never lock your content behind paywalls: you can export all of your designs in full resolution at any time, no matter what plan you use.

Your creative work is 100% yours, always

Everything you create with Holaz — whether you build it from a template, generate it with AI, or upload your own assets — belongs exclusively to you.

• You hold all intellectual property rights to any original posters you create, for both personal and commercial use. We do not claim any copyright, trademark, or ownership rights to your original work.
• If you choose to share a poster you made to our public template library, you grant other Holaz users the right to adapt and use that template for their own projects, and you grant us a limited license to host and display that template in our library. You can remove your shared templates from the library at any time, and all rights will revert back to you exclusively.
• All pre-made templates in our library are licensed for your unlimited personal and commercial use, with no additional fees or attribution required.

AI-specific privacy rules (unique to Holaz)

Our AI poster engine is built with privacy as its core foundation, not an afterthought:

• Any prompts or uploaded assets you use for a single generation are only processed for that specific request. They are not stored in our AI training dataset unless you explicitly choose to contribute them.
• Our AI is trained only on licensed, public domain, or voluntarily contributed anonymous content. We never scrape private user content to improve our models.
• We do not store or log the full text of your private creative prompts after your design request is completed, unless you choose to save the prompt to your personal library.
• If our AI accidentally generates content that matches your private unpublished work, reach out to our team and we will immediately remove that output from our system and adjust our model to prevent recurrence.

You have full control over your data

You don't have to submit support tickets or jump through bureaucratic hoops to manage your privacy:

• You can access, edit, or delete all account information (including your email address) anytime in your account settings.
• You can delete individual designs, uploaded photos, or your entire design history with one click. When you delete content, it is permanently erased from our active servers and backup systems within 72 hours, with no residual copies kept.
• You can opt out of optional usage data collection at any time, with no impact on your ability to use any Holaz features.
• You can delete your entire account permanently at any time, with no questions asked. We will erase all of your data immediately, and will not retain any records of your account after deletion.

How we keep your data safe

• All data transferred between your device and our servers is encrypted end-to-end using industry-standard encryption protocols.
• All stored content (your designs, uploaded assets, account info) is stored in encrypted cloud servers with strict role-based access controls. No Holaz employee can access your private content without your explicit written permission.
• We conduct independent security audits every quarter to identify and fix vulnerabilities, and prevent unauthorized access to our systems.
• In the extremely unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of confirming the breach, and will take all possible steps to mitigate harm.

Updates to this privacy promise

We may update this privacy promise from time to time as we add new features to Holaz:

• All updates will be posted in the Holaz app and on our website at least 30 days before they take effect. We will also send a notification to your registered email (if you have an account) to alert you of changes.
• If you continue to use Holaz after the updated terms take effect, you agree to the revised privacy promise. If you do not agree with the updates, you can export all of your content and delete your account at any time.
